It looks like Ten Hag wants to see Cristiano Ronaldo in his team which would likely mean that the forward will be happy to stay as well.
Ten Hag will not be formally in charge of the team for the final game of the season.
Instead, Ralf Rangnick will lead the team for what will be his last match as the Man United interim head coach against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
