Ronaldo Issues Warning to Clubs – Says Juventus are Ready to Conquer ‘Italy, Europe, and the World’ In 2020-21 Campaign

Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted that the Serie A champions are stronger than ever as life begins under Andrea Pirlo in Turin. Thus, Ronaldo issues warning to clubs, saying that Juventus are ready to conquer not just Italy, but also Europe and the whole world.

Juventus, to be fair with, had a somewhat underwhelming campaign in 2019-20 as, despite retaining their Serie A title, they failed short in Coppa Italia. They were dumped out of the Champions League in the last 16 by Lyon as well.

However, their star striker is now making it a goal to “conquer Italy, Europe, and the world” with the club in the 2020-21 campaign.

Meanwhile, Juventus’ untimely exit from European football earlier in August ultimately saw manager Maurizio Sarri relieved of his duties at the helm, and Andrea Pirlo duly appointed to replace him. The appointment marks the former Juve and Italy’s playmaker’s first senior coaching role. Juventus sees their former star as the ideal man to lead them to European and domestic glory.

Cristiano Ronaldo, on his own part, scored 37 goals across all competitions in his second campaign with the Bianconeri, and he’s hopeful of seeing more goals in the next campaign.

Ronaldo Issues Warning to Clubs

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Ronaldo issues warning to clubs, clearly stating that he and Juventus are totally out to conquer the world in 2020-21 season.

“As I’m getting ready for my third season as a Bianconero, my spirit and ambition are as high as ever,” wrote the five-time Ballon d’Or winner. “Goals. Victories. Commitment. Dedication. Professionalism. With all my strength and with the precious help from my team-mates and all of the Juventus staff, we work once again to conquer Italy, Europe, and the world!”

Ronaldo also hinted at setting new personal records, while the team prospers.

“Breaking records. Overcoming obstacles. Winning titles and achieving personal goals. To do more and better once and again. To reach higher and to succeed in all challenges that may come our way.”

Generally, the Portuguese hopes on an improved and a better season to come.

“Making every year into an adventure better than the one before and winning everything for our fans and supporters,” he added. “To be the bearers of this amazing and unique passion that is Juventus, and to live up to its history, elevating our name, our values and our standards as high as possible.”

Cristiano Ronaldo ended his timely message with a rallying cry to the Juve faithful as he wrote. “We are Juventus! We are the champions! We are back and stronger than ever! We are counting on you! All together! Fino Alla Fine!”

The 2020-21 Serie A season is expected to begin on September 19. And Juventus are bidding to become the first team ever to win the Italian title in 10 consecutive seasons. Inter and AC Milan are the only other clubs to have reached double figures for titles win in the league’s entire history!
