7 Football Players Who Hate Cristiano Ronaldo

Being one of the most successful athletes of all time is definitely going to fetch you some haters. And Cristiano Ronaldo is not at all a fan favorite of some of these players. As the case may be, we bring to you the top 7 football players who hate Cristiano Ronaldo.

1. Gerard Pique

Pique and Cristiano Ronaldo have grown to dislike each other, probably because of the El Clasico rivalry.

The Catalan has trolled the former Real Madrid star by imitating his ‘calma’ celebration and Ronaldo responded in kind: “Even when others are celebrating, they remember Cristiano Ronaldo,” Cristiano was quoted by 101GreatGoals.com. “Whether it’s good or not, let them talk about Cris.”

2. Koke

On November 19th, 2016, Atletico Madrid captain, Koke, made derogatory remarks about Cristiano Ronaldo after Real Madrid’s 3-0 derby win.

Ronaldo and Koke burst up when they got involved in a heated exchange in the second half, where both stars clashed heads. And, according to Cadena Cope, Koke stirred everything when he called the Bernabeu legend a “f****t.”

Allegedly, Ronaldo then replied: “A f***t, yes. But a rich one, b******.”

Obviously, the Spaniard is not a fan of the Portuguese, who has cost Atletico Madrid 2 Champions League titles!

3. Alejandro Moreno

The retired Venezuela footballer and current ESPNFC analyst, Alejandro Moreno, is known for bashing Cristiano Ronaldo at every chance he gets.

The broadcaster once infamously said: “Ronaldo is not good enough for big games.” Something ridiculous, considering Ronaldo has scored in multiple cup finals across his glorious career.

4. Pep Guardiola

The former Barcelona player and manager is one of the top 7 football players who hate Cristiano Ronaldo judging from their gestures or reactions. Back when the Spaniard was managing the Blugarans, Barcelona beat Real Madrid 5-0.

When Madrid were down 2-0 at the time, frustrations were setting in. As Ronaldo went to get the ball for the throw-in, Guardiola kept it away from him with his right hand and flicked it down the sideline. Ronaldo gave then gave him a small shove as he went for the ball.

The current Manchester City boss also blatantly ignored Ronaldo’s handshake at the 2013 Ballon d’Or ceremony. Apparently, no love lost between the two!

5. Xavi Hernandez

Xavi once said that Ronaldo does not possess Messi’s footballing intelligence. The midfielder tried to backtrack later by saying that his words were lost in transition, but it’s not hard to believe that the Barcelona midfielder does not like the man who tormented his club on multiple occasions.

6. Sepp Blatter

The then FIFA president once said: “Messi is a good boy that every father and mother would like to have at home. Really, he is a good man, he is very fast and he is not exuberant, he is playing well, he is dancing, he is a kind man, really good.

“The other one [Ronaldo] is like a commander on the field of play… yeah, that’s it. One has more expenses for the hairdresser than the other, but that does not matter. I cannot say who is the best. The [Ballon D’Or] list will be published, and then the public will make their choice. I like both of them, but I prefer Messi.”

That’s very weird from Blatter. It obvious everyone has their own preferences, but surely, there is better ways to say you prefer a rival.

7. Lionel Messi

Messi completes this list of the football players who hate Cristiano Ronaldo. The two best footballers of this generation (perhaps of all-time) do not really see eye to eye.

Once in a time, football writer Guillen Balague revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo signifies Messi as a “motherf*****” behind his back and any Madrid players who acknowledge Messi is a motherf*****.

Of course, the Portuguese denied the allegations stating: “I have the utmost respect for all my professional colleagues and Messi is obviously no exception.” Though, we’re not really sure he means it.

Moreover, Lionel Messi must not have taken kindly to this either, as he barely speaks about Ronaldo despite the two dominating the game for over a decade.

In this list of the football players who hate Cristiano Ronaldo, who do you think hates the five-time Ballon d’Or winner most?
