Juventus To Punish The Ball Boy Involved In Cristiano Ronaldo Incident Against Genoa
Cristiano Ronaldo has been heavily criticized for his conduct at the end of his side’s Serie A outing against Genoa on weekend. However, Juventus is reportedly set to punish the ball boy involved in the incident.
According to an Italian publication la Repubblica, the Bianconeri is set to punish the ball boy who asked Cristiano Ronaldo his jersey after Juventus’ match against Genoa.
In the game against Genoa, the Portuguese played no direct part in any of his side’s goals in the 3-1 victory over Genoa at Allianz Stadium last Sunday.
As the referee blew the final whistle, Cristiano was seen tossing his shirt at the back of the goal post in a rather strange manner.

Now two theories have been raised to explain his unusual behavior: First is that the Serie A top scorer was unhappy with himself after being unable to add to his goal tally. The second is that he merely wanted to give his jersey to the ball boy who had requested it earlier.
Moreover, it has apparently been certified that the second theory holds true. As a result, Juventus is set to punish the ball boy involved.
As per sources, Juve forbids ball boys from requesting any sort of souvenir from the senior team members. And now the U-13 ball boy who asked Ronaldo for his jersey will be punished for breaching the rules.
