Unbelievable!!! CIHEFE Snubs Cristiano Ronaldo From A Top 10 La Liga List
It’s unbelievable that the Spanish Federation of Football History & Statistics, CIHEFE snubs Cristiano Ronaldo from their top 10 all-time list of players to have graced the league.
Despite his historical career, Ronaldo has just woke up to the uninspiring news that he got snubbed from one of the most important all-time top 10 lists. Cristiano Ronaldo’s nine years stint in Spanish La Liga with Real Madrid was nothing but impressive, breaking records and setting new highs. Although he managed only two top-flight titles with the Spanish giants, Ronaldo easily deserved to be part of the podium because he was nothing short of spectacular in the Spanish capital.
Meanwhile, the whole world is in shock by the decision from the Spanish Federation of Football History & Statistics (CIHEFE) to leave Cristiano Ronaldo out of their top 10 lists. The federation just announced their all-time list of the best players in the competition’s history and opted to snub the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
A Short Recap Of Ronaldo’s Time at La Liga
During Cristiano Ronaldo’s nine-year spell at Real Madrid, he was able to score a total of 311 goals in 292 matches, making him the only player with over one goal per-match ratio. The Portuguese forward equally won four Ballon d’Or titles and three European Golden Shoes through his time as a Real Madrid player.
Moreover, the contribution above was not enough to earn him a spot in the Top 10 list of the best players to ever compete in the Spanish La Liga. Although this is only an opinion, it’s arguable that the decision is extremely unfair from the Spanish Federation of Football History & Statistics (CIHEFE).

Lionel Messi Tops the List Ahead Of “Quini” and Cesar
Cristiano Ronaldo can be seen lavishing in the 12th position on the list with 457 points from the voting as the list loses its credibility by his snub in the top 10. As expected, Lionel Messi topped the list with a good margin having scooped 695 points from the voting. Enrique Castro “Quini” comes in a distant second with 566 points after the voting, while Cesar Rodriguez with 557 points to complete the top 3.
Elsewhere in the list includes, Thelmo Zarra, Raul Gonzales, Juan Arza, Carlos Santillana, Alfredo Di Stefano, Guillermo Gorostiza, Manuel Fernandez “Pahiño”, and Francisco Gento, in that order.
Meanwhile, all the players named above came ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo in the ranking. It’s quite disappointing and shocking to learn that Ronaldo could not make the top 10 list of the best players in the history of Spanish La Liga because he deserved to be there. But like we know, the Juventus and Portuguese ace has too many personal accolades to feel upset by this news. Besides people who truly appreciate his greatness know he is only second to the best player in the history of La Liga because everyone knows it’s only Lionel Messi that beats him in terms of personal achievements in La Liga.
Cristiano Ronaldo is just phenomenal wherever he has been up to with his national team side inclusive. Feel free to share your opinion on this top 10 list especially as CIHEFE snubs Cristiano Ronaldo in the top 10.
