Cristiano Ronaldo and Dybala have challenged each other first to reach 100 goals with Juventus. The Argentine has revealed an inside battle that has been going on with his Juventus teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Paulo Dybala has publicized that he and Cristiano Ronaldo are fighting a battle to net 100 goals for Juventus, with both stars extremely close to the century landmark having stayed like that for longer than expected.

On records, Dybala is one short of the milestone, whereas Cristiano Ronaldo has three more to go. Unfortunately for Dybala, injuries interrupted his efforts to reach 100 goals for Andrea Pirlo’s side this season.

Aside from the setbacks, the 27-year-old faced immense competition for a spot in the first team. Moreover, Paulo Dybala’s agreement has not been extended yet and will expire in 2022. His most recent goal for Juve came in a game against Napoli on April 7.

Dybala said: “Ronaldo and I are challenging each other to reach 100 goals with Juventus. I need only one, while he still needs three.”

“He always wants to win, even in training, and if he loses he becomes difficult to deal with for a few minutes.”

The Bianconeri still has seven more fixtures left to play in this season. Six out of those are Serie A games and one in the Coppa Italia final against Atalanta on May 19.
