Ronaldo Juventus Confirms Andrea Pirlo’s Full Coaching Staff
Only a few could not see it coming that Maurizio Sarri’s time at Juventus was coming to an end. However, what was surprising to many was the club’s decision to appoint former player Andrea Pirlo as their new manager following the dismissal of Sarri. Now Juventus have taken another big step to confirm the new manager Andrea Pirlo’s coaching staff.
With the new season of the Bianconeri set to start on August 24 under the eyes of Andrea Pirlo, the club’s hierarchy have moved quickly to ensure that duties are assigned duly at the club.
In the process, Juventus officially confirmed the appointment of Igor Tudor, who is also a former Juve player as Andrea Pirlo’s assistant. Tudor, who was formally released from Hadjuk Split before the weekend, was a part of the Juventus sides of the late 90s and early 2000s. He also, in the past, held the position of assistant coach for the Croatian national team, while also previously leading PAOK, Karabukspor, Galatasaray, and Udinese.
Elsewhere, Tudor and Pirlo will be joined by technical collaborators of Roberto Baronio and Antonio Gagliardi. Both have had experiences in the Italian national team setup. Paolo Bertelli, who already had a spell at Juventus from 2011 to 2014, also joins them as he takes the role of Head of Athletic Preparation.
