Cristiano Ronaldo Sends Message To The Fans After Juventus Win Against Bologna

Following Juventus win against Bologna at Allianz Stadium on Sunday, the Old Lady moved back into the top four of the league standings. Cristiano Ronaldo although he was not on the scoresheet helped his side claim the much-needed victory by setting up Arthur Melo for the opener, before Weston McKennie added another with a powerful header into the left corner, giving Juve a 2-0 win.

After the victory, the Portuguese superstar assured that Juventus are “on the right path.” The defending champions had fallen out in front of Inter Milan in their previous league outing but then saw out Bologna following their Italian Supercoppa success in midweek.

Meanwhile, both Inter Milan and AC Milan dropped points in their most recent fixtures which helped the Bianconeri get back in the title race. Currently, Juventus sit at fourth in the standings seven points behind leaders Milan with a game in hand.

Cristiano Ronaldo took to social media to express his delight after the result insisting that the win was an ‘important’ one for his under-pressure side.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner tweeted: “Very important victory! We are on the right path! Go on like this ️ # to the end.”

Juventus will be up next against SPAL in the Quarter-final of Coppa Italia on Wednesday, 27th January before traveling to Sampdoria on Saturday, 30th January.
