Alvaro Morata Vows To Tell His Children That He Played With Cristiano Ronaldo

Juventus and Spanish forward Alvaro Morata is proud to have played with ‘one of the best football players in history’ in Cristiano Ronaldo and vows to tell his kids everything about it.

The on-loan Juventus striker revealed he finds it easy to play alongside ‘quality’ Cristiano Ronaldo, who can score goals that wouldn’t be possible for any ordinary footballer and can play in different roles without difficulty.

Morata and Ronaldo have made 76 appearances together for Real Madrid and Juventus, and the pair have won many major honors together, including two Champions League and La Liga titles. The strike partners also hope to win something together this season in Italy.

Alvaro Morata since his loan move from Atletic Madrid to Juventus has enjoyed fine form and the forward now reveals how thrilling his reunion with Ronaldo is.

“It’s easy to play with him,” Morata told Sky Sports Italia.

“I’ve known him for some time. On some occasions when a normal person wouldn’t score, he scores.

“In Parma, I gave him an assist that only he could see and understand. I understand his movements and what he likes to do.

“I often take his men away by moving, and I think it helps him not to always have two or three players around him. It’s a pleasure to play with him.

“He is still one of the best in football history. He’s great, has incredible quality and he can play wherever he wants, whether it is as a number nine, 10, or 11.

“I can only enjoy it every day, and I hope to support him for a long time to come.

“It’s a pride for me. I grew up watching him and when I got here thinking about playing with him and [Paulo] Dybala thrilled me.

“They are players of a higher level. We have an excellent relationship, even off the pitch. I will tell my children that I played with them.”

Alvaro Morata and Ronaldo are set to return to action for Juve’s trip to second-placed Inter Milan in the Serie A on Sunday night.
