Cristiano Ronaldo Reacts To Meeting With Sergio Ramos Once Again As Clash In International Friendlies
Cristiano Ronaldo has met Sergio Ramos for the first time in two years after leaving Real Madrid for Juventus in 2018. The former Real Madrid teammates had the chance to come across each other on Wednesday as they faced off in 0-0 draw between Portugal and Spain in an international friendly clash.
The superstars put their differences aside as they caught up after the two nations played out a goalless draw on Wednesday night.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos grew a close friendship in Madrid for nine years; however, Marca reported recently that the pair had not spoken to each other in two years.
It was reported that their fallout was as a result of how Ronaldo reacted to Luka Modric winning the 2018 Ballon d’Or ahead of him. But now it looked as though the pair are in good spirits as their pleasantries after the game show much about it.

Following the night’s encounter, Sergio Ramos took to Instagram to share a photo of himself with Cristiano Ronaldo and a fellow former teammate in Pepe in the changing room after the game.
The Spain skipper captioned his post: “We’re still around… and there’s more to come! Happy to see you, my friends.”
Ramos can be seen holding up a signed shirt of Cristiano Ronaldo for the picture with all the three players having their arms around each other as they smiled to the camera.
The Wednesday night’s encounter was the first time Ronaldo and Ramos are coming face to face since the five-time Ballon d’Or winner left Real Madrid for Juventus in the summer of 2018. And from what we witnessed after the game, their friendship looks alive!
