Has Marcelo just dropped a hint about Cristiano Ronaldo’s possible return to Real Madrid? It looked subtle but strong, but Marcelo just dropped a huge hint about Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer saga from recent weeks.
Everyone probably has been wondering where Marcelo and Cristiano Ronaldo could play together again. As we know, the Portuguese captain already had some interesting relationships with teammates at Manchester United. For example, Ronaldo was great friends with Anderson during his time as a Red Devil. However, there would be no denying fact that Cristiano Ronaldo has a fraternal relationship with Marcelo. Both became thick as thieves during the nine seasons Cristiano played at Real Madrid, which is all the more reason for everybody to believe they can get together again at this stage of their careers.
Moreover, since Ronaldo left Real Madrid for Juventus in 2018, there have been rumors about the Brazilian full-back going to Juventus. But things have drastically taken another turn in recent weeks, especially following Juve’s early Champions League exit. And now the recent rumors about Cristiano Ronaldo possibly returning to Real Madrid have been fueled by many of the club’s personalities including Marcelo himself.
Marcelo Joins The Likes Of Zidane And Ramos With A Hint
Previously, it was reported that Sergio Ramos winked at Cristiano Ronaldo during a conversation with Ibai Llanos. He revealed that allowing the superstar to leave the club was a mistake. Days later, Zinedine Zidane hinted at the possible negotiations between the club and the player for his return. Now, it is Marcelo, who has just added more fuel to this fire. Meanwhile, we can’t say if the Brazilian did it as a joke but he did really comment on a publication from the official 433 Instagram account.
The account shared a video of Ronaldo’s days as a Real Madrid player and his connection with the Brazilian defender. It reminded everyone of how great they played together on the left-wing.
This also left Marcelo with a cheeky and cryptic comment: “Soon,” with no more context other than a couple of emojis. Well, if that doesn’t get Real Madrid fans hyped, then we don’t know what else might do the trick!
