Cristiano Ronaldo to rejoin Manchester United or Real Madrid?
After another abrupt ending to the Bianconeri’s European journey, there have been intense speculations about the future of their superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. A lot of rumors have been heard lately that Juventus and Cristiano Ronaldo could part ways at the end of the current season.
Like we all know, the Old Lady signed ‘Mr. Champions League’ in hope of achieving European glory. However, the Italian giants have not only failed to do so but also suffered an early exit from Europe’s most prestigious club competition three times in succession since the Portuguese arrived.
One of the sources also claimed that the Serie A champions plan on cashing in on their most expensive signing and use those funds to rebuild their aging squad.
Cristiano Ronaldo has less than 16 months left on his current Juventus contract, and he could head out the exit door this summer. And according to Tuttosport, a Manchester United reunion is more likely for the 36-year-old than a Real Madrid return.
Meanwhile, it is understood that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez would rather invest in long-term target Kylian Mbappe than bring back a 36-year-old forward.
Moreover, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner prefers a switch to Old Trafford, where he first made his name and rose to prominence. The Portuguese enjoyed considerable success during his six-year stint at Manchester United, winning three Premier League titles, Champions League trophy, and the first of his five Ballon d’Or awards, among a host of other accolades.
But, where would like to see Cristiano Ronaldo return? Manchester United or Real Madrid? Feel free to share your feedback!
