Dzeko’s future at AS Roma looks increasingly uncertain in recent times, with him heavily linked with a move to Juventus.

Meanwhile, Juventus’ new head coach Andrea Pirlo recently made it clear that Gonzalo Higuain is not in his future plans for the club, and Juve is understood to be in the market for a new striker.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina central forward is believed to be among those at the top of the Serie A champions’ wish-list as they aim at bringing in a new strike partner for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Edin Dzeko, 34, found the back of the net 19 times across all competitions last season, while also contributing 14 assists to help AS Roma qualify for the Europa League.

While speaking in an interview with the Italian TV channel Rai Sport, Dzeko, however, seemed reluctant to discuss his future.

“Every year there’s talk about me leaving Roma,” stated the Bosnia man.

“It’s not the right time to talk about the transfer market, I focus on these games, and then we’ll see,” referring to Bosnia’s UEFA Nations League opener against Poland on Monday, September 7.

Finally, Edin Dzeko discusses his potential link-up with Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus, somewhat questioning his age.

“The possibility of playing with Cristiano Ronaldo at 34? I can say that I’m 34 years old, that I feel good, and that I’m proud of this.”
