Cristiano Ronaldo Opens Up a Huge Gap In The Serie A Top Scorers List

Cristiano Ronaldo just inspired Juventus to a late comeback win over Udinese on Sunday and as result opened up a huge gap in the Serie A top scorers list over Lukaku and others.

After finishing fourth in the 2018-19 campaign and runner-up last season, the Portuguese is edging closer to becoming the Italian goal king in his third campaign in Italy.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has been sensational in an otherwise nightmare season for Juventus. So far he has contributed towards 43% of the club’s 67 goals, despite missing four games and starting from the bench twice.

Cristiano Ronaldo should his importance to Juve’s side yet again in Sunday’s 2-1 win over Udinese. Despite the Bianconeri going a goal down in the first half, the 36-year-old turned it up when it really mattered to fire in two late goals. His efforts sealed a superb comeback win and sent his club back into the Serie A top-four.

Ronaldo has now opened up a huge gap in the Serie A top scorers list as he uses six-goal to lead the charts over Romelu Lukaku of Inter Milan. Simy [Crotone], Luis Muriel [Atalanta], Dusan Vlahovic [Fiorentina], and Ciro Immobile [Lazio] are all tied in third place on 19 goals.
