Gianluca Di Marzio has broken the news that Cristiano Ronaldo has been rested for Juventus’ upcoming Serie A game against Benevento on Saturday.
Following Ronaldo’s coronavirus scare and initial fitness worry, he hasn’t been able to earn adequate rest since returning to the field of play last month.
The Portuguese has been in the pitch for full 90 minutes in Serie A for all the games he was available this season except games against Spezia and Lazio, where he came on as a substitute and subbed off towards the end of the game respectively.
