Cristiano Ronaldo breaks his silence with a message for all the critics that have slammed him since Juventus’ early Champions League exit. He says, “Football has memory… and so do I!’ insisting that ‘true champions never break’.
Following Juventus’ shock exit from the Champions League last-16 at the hands of a 10-man Porto this week, Ronaldo was singled out by the media and some Juve legends for criticism. They slammed his performance, lack of bravery, and even demanded an apology.
Elsewhere, there are also suggestions that the 36-year-old forward should move on from Juventus as soon as possible.

But after all said, Ronaldo breaks his silence with a cryptic post on social media, which read thus;
“More important than the number of falls you take in life, is how fast and how strong you get back on your feet…,” the Portuguese wrote on his Instagram.
“True champions never break! Our focus is already in Cagliari, in the Serie A struggle, in the Italian Cup final, and in everything that we can still achieve this season.”
And then as a five-time Ballon d’Or and Champions League winner, Cristiano emphasized his past glories and how they can never be erased.
“It’s true that the past belongs in museums (I should say!), but fortunately, football has memory… and so do I!” He continued.
” History can’t be deleted, it’s written every single day with resilience, team spirit, persistence, and lots of hard work. And those who don’t understand this will never achieve glory and success.”
