Reasons For Cristiano Ronaldo’s Free-Kick Failure Revealed Pinsoglio
Cristiano Ronaldo has clearly struggled to put free-kicks away since joining Juventus, but Pinsoglio isn’t worried and hopes his good friend stays next season. The Juventus back-up goalkeeper Carlo Pinsoglio reveals that “bad luck” is the only reason for Cristiano Ronaldo’s free-kick failures at Juventus.
Ronaldo has taken part in 123 official games for Juventus and had only scored one free-kick in 72 attempts. It’s one stat that critics have been quick to call him out on, despite the Portuguese ace still scoring a whopping 95 goals already.
Now Pinsoglio has revealed there is nothing wrong with Cristiano Ronaldo’s free-kick ability as the 36-year-old “scores them all the time” in training.
“Cristiano always takes free kicks in training and he scores them all the time,” Pinsoglio told Tuttosport.
“I don’t know why he can’t do it in games, maybe it’s just bad luck.”
“I have a beautiful friendship with him, my teammates make fun of me saying that I’ll go to the Euros with the Portugal staff and Cristiano.”
“Ronaldo is a simple guy, not a star, he’s quiet, he likes to laugh and joke.”
