Whether Cristiano Ronaldo Will Receive Carabao Cup Winner’s Medal From Man United Finally Revealed
Cristiano Ronaldo did Manchester United a favor by forcing an exit via a terrible Piers Morgan interview in December.
The Portuguese now plays for Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr while United have only gone from strength to strength in his absence.
The Red Devils not only boast a higher win percentage but we’re also seeing a new side to the likes of Antony, Jadon Sancho, and Marcus Rashford.
Ronaldo left the club mid-season in unceremonious fashion, so could he possibly receive a Carabao Cup winners’ medal?

Tournament rules state: “In addition to the Cup, the Management Committee shall present thirty souvenirs to the winning Club in the Final Tie; and thirty souvenirs to the losing Club in the Final Tie. Additional souvenirs may be presented with the consent of the Management Committee but shall be at the cost of the requesting Club.”
United have received 30 medals and only 27 players have featured in the competition this season.
Ideally, Ronaldo should not receive anything more from the club. However, United have not commented on whether they will present the 38-year-old with a medal. Moreover, Cristiano Ronaldo’s profile already boasts of this medal during his first stint at Old Trafford. Therefore, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner might not even be super interested in receiving one from Manchester United this time around after falling out with the club last December.
Ronaldo is currently enjoying life in Saudi Pro League and has earned the Portuguese international team’s new boss Roberto Martinez trust as he names the international record goal scorer in his most recent national team squad for the March international duty.
