Sporting CP Star Sends Cristiano Ronaldo’s Mother A Cheeky Transfer Message
Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother got a cheeky message from a Sporting CP star over a possible transfer back to the club by her son after she was seen cheering for the club.
Sporting CP star Bruno Tabata joked about Ronaldo returning to Sporting CP after videos of Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother, Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro, cheering for the club broke the internet.
She shared videos of herself celebrating Sporting’s 1-0 win over Tondela in the Primeira Liga on Saturday on Instagram Stories. She did so in a room full of Ronaldo’s old Manchester United and Portugal jerseys.
In the picture below, Maria Dolores holds a Ronaldo Sporting jersey.
The 66-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother is a keen follower of Sporting and sometimes uploads posts on Instagram wishing the club luck ahead of games.

This prompts the feeling that if her famous son Ronaldo was to leave Juventus and return to Portugal, his boyhood club would be his only option.
Moreover, signing the five-time Ballon d’Or winner would be a dream coup for Sporting Cp and arguably the biggest in Portuguese football history.
However, Cristiano or not, Bruno Tabata joked that the superstar still has to ask permission to take his number seven jersey.
“Calm down Mrs Dolores, Ronaldo still needs to ask me for the No. 7 [shirt],” the midfielder wrote on Twitter.
Now, as noted by Portuguese football writer Tom Kundert, Tabata’s innocent tweet has left people speculating.
Regardless, Cristiano Ronaldo remains committed to helping the Bianconeri win the titles within their reach, at least until the end of this season.
