Florentino Perez Gives Update on Ronaldo’s Possible Return & Ramos’ Contract
Sergio Ramos’ contract at Bernabeu runs out this summer and he looks unlikely to extend and Ronaldo, on the other hand, is reportedly unhappy in Turin and considers a comeback. However, the Real Madrid president has been straightforward on the Real Madrid record scorer and coy on Ramos.
As it stands, the Real skipper might be playing his last season in the Spanish capital after Florentino Perez was coy on the center-back’s contract extension.
“I love Sergio Ramos, but we are in a very bad financial situation at Real Madrid. Nobody puts money into this club,” Perez said o El Chiringuito.
“Will he leave the club? I didn’t say that… many things can happen. We will think about it at the end of the season. Sergio Ramos accepted to lower his salary last season, but not this season.”
