Speaking to ESPN, Leon Bailey gave his opinion on an argument that divides football fans all around the world, which is, who’s better; Cristiano or Leo?

” I think [Lionel] Messi has been at one club for too long. The big difference between Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi is Ronaldo has done great things in different teams and that’s what makes him great. Obviously, they are two great players but Ronaldo will always have that upper hand,” the 23-year-old star said.

Although Bailey believes Messi has great talent more than his arch-rival Ronaldo, he will still choose the Portuguese captain every single time.

“I believe Messi is more talented than Ronaldo, but when it comes to more success, I would give that to Ronaldo 100 times,” he added.

Meanwhile, Bailey’s choice leaves us with an interesting thought that relates to Messi’s unknown future. Probably, the Argentinian captain may have to leave Barcelona in order to assert himself as the best football player in the world!
