Marcus Rashford Names His Dream XI – Ronaldo & Rooney Leads The Line!
Marcus Rashford has named his dream Manchester United six-a-side team, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney making the cut.
The 23-year-old humbly left himself out of it, choosing to mostly favor club legends he grew up watching in his line-up instead.
Ronaldo, who Marcus Rashford idolized as a youngster, made the line-up alongside his former partner in crime Wayne Rooney.
Joining Ronaldo in the Englishman’s dream team are Rio Ferdinand, Paul Scholes, and Ryan Giggs.
“Right, I’m going to go with most players from the teams that I watched when I was growing up,” Marcus Rashford said in a Q&A session on Instagram on his dream six-a-side United team.
“I’d probably have [David] de Gea [in goal], but it was a close one between him and [Edwin] Van der Sar.
“When I was a kid Van der Sar was one of the best keepers and obviously playing with David has been great, so I’d have to put David in there.”

Then, the one person he could play in front of De Gea, Rashford added: “At the back I’d have Rio Ferdinand.
“I’m all-out attack there. I’d have [Paul] Scholesy in front of Rio, [Ryan] Giggs on the right, Ronaldo on the left, and Rooney upfront.
“I’m not putting myself in. Not yet.”
