Cristiano Ronaldo Eyes Another Remarkable But Difficult Juventus Record

Cristiano Ronaldo has always been breaking either one record or another throughout his glittering career, and now, he’s on a chase of another remarkable Juventus record. The 35-year-old forward is chasing a new Juventus record that will make him the fastest player to reach 100 goals in the history of Juventus – a record that has been 60 years old.

Bianconeri legend Omar Sivori is the player who currently holds the record for the fastest Juventus player to reach 100 goals, according to ilBianconero. It was noted that Omar Sivori reached 100 goals in 124 appearances for the Old Lady, with an impressive goal per game average of 0.806.

The Juventus legend hit the landmark tally back on March 26, 1961. This means that it has been 60 years now and the record has not to be broken. Another Juventus superstar in Roberto Baggio came closest in reaching that landmark after he hit triple figures in 162 games.

But now, there is another record smasher in Juve camp that if he keeps up his red-hot form in front of goal this campaign, he could very well overtake Sivori as the fastest century scorer for the Old Lady. And there is none another person than Cristiano Ronaldo.

Since taking a new challenge in Italy back in 2018, Cristiano Ronaldo has found the back of the net 85 times in 109 appearances and will have to score at least once in his next 15 games to make the record his sole own!

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner scored his 85th goal in the Supercoppa Italiana victory against Napoli last week, while also becoming football’s all-time highest goalscorer in the process.
